In my situation, I let her do the break up if we argue on things or we don't feel the spark anymore. 
Because, if i would be the one to do the break up or the good bye. I will be guilty to the thing I've done. It would be painful for girls if we guys would do the break up.

With my ex, it took me about 9 months to get over it completely. For about 2 weeks, I cried and lost my appetite (I lost so much weight.)
But... if my current boyfriend were to say that to me, I don't know how I'd react. It'll hurt more than my break-up with my ex, that's for sure. I dunno. I can't really imagine what it would be like. xD
