yeah.. but i teach my gliscor with earthquake and fire fang.... my tyranatar is 1 of my physical wall the other is snorlax and gliscor ... I love defense .. hahah XD
Tyranitar is so weak in fighting and ground attackes, and those are the most common moves in competitive pokemon, but you've got a good wall in Snorlax (Physically).. hmmm.. i must have some special attackers then

haha, not bad. but i dont usually use him. and it's because of that freakin magikarpill fry magikarp to death. wth, splash!
anyway, i loev yerr pokemon line-up.
those are the
lol, i dunno why but i am really intrigued about mayor playing pokemon.nice.
i never thought i would see another grown-up playing pokemon.
it was effin disappointing now that i have no classmate still interested in pokemon.
the first time i evolved my magikarp (thorugh "hitch-riding" with my team), i got shocked by the power (physically and specially) provided by Gyarados, that's why, i kept him until I met the E4 ,

yup, yup, yup! TTar's base stats is quite impressive, in fact, TTar is included in the list of "psuedo-legendaries", just like Salamence, Metagross and Dragonite. It's my favorite too, but I never use it as a wall, primarily, i use it as a Physical Sweeper
TTar is devastating if handled properly (good switching, predicting perfectly when to switch in and out during battle)

true, i agree with you. During the in-game (not in competitive battling, i.e. wi-fi or Shoddy), if you don;t have an electric pokemon in your team, a high-leveled wild or trained Gyarados will most likely to sweep a team

yeah.. Tyranitar can also be a physical sweeper .. because of it's awesome move pool, great stats and a solid typing. The special and physical split is the main change that has favoured Tyranitar. It has physical Dark typed STAB to use alongside the pre-existing Rock STAB, which also got a significant improvement with the addition of Stone Edge.

cool! TTar is perhaps one of the best user of Stone Edge (try to imagine a a STAB Stone Edge from an EV-maxed (attack) choice banded TTar). it could knock down a good physical wall
My Shoddy Team lead is a TTar, which also caused a sand storm, perhaps, my Team is a Sand Team

what avantages can you get by using sandstorm in the battle with your shoddy team?.

in a sandstorm, some pokemon are affected/damaged by it. while if you have a sandstorm team (pokemon that are immune to sandstorm like TTar, Gliscor, Scizor, etc, you will have a great advantage.

yes . but if your pokemon that is immune to it fainted ?
you can have some problems there ..
you can also use stealth rock in competitive battle.. because other are likely switching pokemon... it's a great strategy.. and toxic too..

that is why, in creating a sandstorm team, you have to make sure that the team members are immune to sandstorm, you could try:
= Garchomp (Lead)
= Tyranitar
= Gliscor
= Metagross
= Empoleon
= Scizor
All of the above are immune to sandstorm. There are lots of pokemon to choose from

Stealh Rocks and Spikes are a "must" in competitive battling. I prefer using Spikes because you can lay layers of spikes for additional damage, unlike in stealth rocks, layering is not possible

yeah, great team,, they are all immune to sandstorm..
.. well then.. i will use a kyogre for your team..
cause of it's drizzle ability..
and 3 of your pokemon are weak to ice and water attack ,
Heres My line-up for that team
Gliscor(Lead for U-turn)
Kyogre(Drizzle)
Snorlax(Physical Wall)
Crobat(Mean look, Confusion, Toxic
)
Umbreon(Baton pass)
Blissey(Substitute)
is this ok..

Your Team Line up is cool, great, devastating!
Unfortunately, this won't be allowed in Shoddy or other major pokemon battle because of the presence of a Legendary. (Kyogre). Should you include a legendary in your team, then, a Legendary Team should be matched up to yours, and that could be fine
xtremebytes9 wrote [?]:

it can be layered up to four
imagine the hazzard entries if you have laid stealth rocks, then 4 layers of spikes, newly-switched pokemon will receive at least 25-50% damage, hahaha!

cause kyogre is the only pokemon you can learn drizzle..
may be i can replace kyogre with a floatzel or lapras with rain dance and holding a damp rock

yeah.. that's an awesome trick
and it will get a massive damage if the pokemon is weak on ground and rock attacks
pokemon -->

Competitive pokemon has a level matching called "tiers", i.e., as provided by Smogon :
1. UBER (mostly Legendaries)
2. OU (Over Used)
3. BL (Borderline)
4. UU (Underused)
5. NU (Never Used)
6. Limbo
7. NFE (Not Fully Evolved)
Matches are based on that tier list. If a member of your team falls under the UBER category, then your team should be in the UBER matches, so as with the other categories.
Now, if you will replace Kyogre in favor of Floatzel or Lapras (both of which falls under NU tier), your team will still be an OU Team because Blissey is an OU. Therefore, before you create a Team, decide first if you want an UBER, OU, UU, NU or NFE Team.
Frankly, neither Floatzel (NU) or Lapras (NU) could do good against any of my team because all the members of my team are OU. Now, to really cope up with my team, you have to make a team composed of OU Pokemon, which you can find here as a guide .gif)

how about a lineup like:
salamence
slaking
garchomp
manaphy
gyarados and
magmortar?
This is a very cool line up, but can only be used during in-game, and friendly DS to DS battle barring no rules, but not in a competitive pokemon like wi-fi and Shoddy battles. Why? Because Garchomp and Manaphy both fall under the UBER tier, otherwise, this Team should be in UBER tier and most likely to face the likes of the powerful legendaries like Deoxys, Kyogre, Arceus, Giratina, Palkia, Dialga, Ho oh, Lugia, Mewtwo, Mew, Groudon, Latias, Rayquaza, Darkrai and others as mentioned from my previous post.
To have a clear picture of the official pokemon tiers, you can click the "smogon" link that I posted above
BTW, welcome back to "our" thread ^.^

hmm then i'll change garchomp and manaphy to tyranitar and dragonite?

yeah, that would be a devastating legal OU Team. I guess it would be difficult to knockdown, but it will also depend on the moves that you will give to each team members

yeah well as long as you can counter your opponent's monsters and outwit him you'll win
