All About POKEMON Games [1st Gen to Platinum]
For those who had played the game, let's have a sharing/discussions about it. You could share your favorite pokemon, team members, starters, default, and some other stuffs related to the game. you can also share here some tips on quick leveling, effective battling, where to find an item, effective movesets, etc.
for me,
my Pearl Team:
Empoleon (starter and default) Roserade Luxray Gyarados Palkia Staraptor
Note: have beaten the Elite 4 at level 60 ave.

wow, a pokemon gamer... you don't see these people around so much anymore since it was only good on the GBA.. anyways mine is:
oh wait i forgot, there was an evolved form of that starter fire pokemon, forgot it's name... and my fave is luxray, very powerful pokemon and love his dark/electricity combination, his weakness aint rock and his dark type moves are very usefull when fighting other types, love him so much and my favorite ever since. i forgot the other ones...
oh, have you played platinum? starting over again is pretty hard on these versions...
oh, i havent beaten the elite 4 yet because the level of my pokemon is surprisingly low even though i have enough items, i can't beat the damned 4... shit shit shit...

the key is to level up, just keep on fightng some trainers (use the Vs.seeker .gif)
). in pearl, i fought the Elite 4 at level 60+, 
my plan team for platinum will be composed of Giratina, Palkia, Roserade, Garchomp, Empoleon & Salamence

the moment i acquired shinx, i trained him immediately to become Luxio and eventually, Luxray. Yeah! a powerful counter for water type Pokemon! very strong and high HP and attck stat too! also my favorite

they are not legendaries or ubers, but they are not weak, though. just give them the best TMs, and if you are aware of EV training, no pokemon could be considered as weak. who would think that Magikarp will evolve to one devastating Gyarados?

thanks kuya jc, but my highest lvl is 55 which is empoleon and when i get my rayquaza it's only about lvl 70

leveling up is easy, just use the Vs.seeker and the EXP share. rare candies also, and contrary to what they said about being leveled up using rare candies, the strength of the pokemon is not downgraded by rare candies i still have stocks of those rare candies, about 10 currently, and plan to use those at level 90's..
BTW, the current level of my Pearl Team is 80+ ave. for those six. I already acquire Giratina (@ lvl 70) and currently training Garchomp (now @lvl 69)
but my platinum team is still not yet completed, though

hey dudes, cool line ups, i couldn't even get near you, i stopped playing just because i can't beat the elite 4, damn damn damn.... by the way, your tip about the vs seeker is good but not too great for me, anyway, i think i'll play again and maybe i can fight you guys, you do have friend codes, right? i'll keep trying my best!!! i'll probably start over again... okay then, i'll play again, already forgot about these things though... but anyway, good luck with your platinum version, think i'll play it in the near future.

Whoah! I'm glad there's a pokemon thread here
I played it long time ago, in my cousin's Nintendo DS. So, I forgot much of them.
But yeah, I've finished that game. Beating Cynthia was quite though then.
Moreover, she had a high-level milotic and it could use Aqua Ring, which can restore its health a bit. 
I love that pokemon. Maximum beauty But I couldn't find feebas anywhere

me too, i have beaten her, and to tell you frankly, Cynthia didn't get a chance of using that Aqua Ring for her milotic, my luxray did a critical hit (thunderbolt), a 1hit KO, hahaha!

exactly. but you have to go there via Veilstone City. Go southwards and you will find a new route to your left after leaving Veilstone. it is a Ghost Dragon, very tough, i used about 40 Ultra Balls!!!

you have to use the pokeradar in capturing a "bagon" (the pre-evolve form of Salamance). from Celestic Town again (Route 210), it's very foggy, you have to use defog so that the visibility is fine. in the grass area in that location, use the poke radar, if you are lucky, you can catch many "bagon"

Nope, i do not have Arceus. they say it's unobtainable in Pearl & Diamond, but can be acquired only through special event from Nintendo, by hacking & by trading from someone who have hacked and got plentry of those.
yeah, strong, but i think "Meowtwo" is much stronger, and super duper rare also

I enjoy playing Diamond very much, and I also have a Platinum, but I use the Diamond more. XD.
Through trade I got Giratina. I traded it for my Alakazam.
BTW, my team is composed of:
- Giratina
- Dialga
- Lucario
All three are level 100. I only use them, cuz they're special. XD.
Almost all of my Pokemon are level 80 and above. I only know 4 of them that are in level 60-70.

It's really easy.
Get into a lot of fights...Hey, you should like..know a lot of people that play Pokemon Platinum/Pearl/Diamond, so you could battle. That's how I get mine to level up quickly.
AND...start playing at 6 pm and end at 3 am. LOL.

Do you guys ever get irritated when a pokemon jumps you? Do you run away or fight them?
I usually just fight them. Or if I fought them like...the umpteenth time, then I just run away. LOL.

if encountered a "rare" one, or pokemon that are not yet previously caught, i catch them
