Programs that you can consider for your signature, image manipulation, animation, etc… :

Gimp - An open source graphics creation and manipulation application similar to Adobe Photoshop.

Photoshop - A bitmap-based, graphic drawing program that designers use to create professional artwork or advertisements. This program is typically used to scan and alter photographic images.

Cinema 4D - A commercial 3-D graphics application that provides high quality images at a modest price-point. Cinema 4D is produced by Maxon Computer GmbH. The company is located in Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt in Germany.

Paint Shop Pro - An image creation and editing tool from JASC Software. It provides an animated GIF editor, a screen-capture function and a graphics format conversion module.

Apophysis - Apophysis is a Freeware fractal flame editor for Windows. One of the most common uses for Apophysis is to make Adobe Photoshop brushes.

Terragen - Terragen is a freeware scenery generator program for Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh. It can be used to create renderings and animations of landscapes.

Bryce - Bryce is a texture based rendering and ray tracing program ideal for creating 3D landscapes, space scenes, buildings and other objects. The name is taken from Bryce Canyon - a rugged region with many of the same landscapes that were first simulated with the software.

Poser - Poser is a three-dimensional modelling and animation program for the home computer user. It uses a subset of the Alias object (OBJ) file format natively and a text-based markup for content-files. This customizability has helped draw a large number of people to the program. As Poser does not allow for original modelling of objects except in the simplest of senses, a community of merchant/artists creating, buying, and selling content for the program has sprung into existence.

Maya - A high-end 3D computer graphics software package used in the film and TV industry, as well as for computer and video games, Created by Alias

3D Studio Max - Sometimes called 3ds Max or just MAX, is a 3-dimensional vector graphics and animation program, written by Autodesk Media & Entertainment (formerly known as Discreet and Kinetix). It was developed as a successor to 3D Studio for DOS, but for the Win32 platform. Kinetix was later merged with Autodesk's latest acquisition, Discreet Logic.

Rhino 3D - Rhino can create, edit, analyze, and translate NURBS* curves, surfaces, and solids in Windows. There are no limits on complexity, degree, or size. Rhino also supports polygon meshes.
