[Tutorial] Scanlines

This tutorial was requested was neaz.
If you want to request tutorial go here.

Requirements :
Photoshop. any version
Creativity.

Instructions :
1. Open your Photoshop ..i'll be using photoshop cs3 extended
Go to File > New.

2. A box will appear then follow the format below : v

3. Now Go to Window > Navigator.
Then Zoom it to 1600%

4. Use the Pencil Tool, and Make a box at the top. be sure your Foreground Color was color black

Outcome :

5. Now go to Edit > Define Pattern.
A box will appear then put any text you want as your pattern name.

Let's try, to use them in a picture

6. Go to File > Open
Then Open your desired image.

7. Go to the Layer of you image.
Right Click, Layer from Background. A box will appear then click OK.

8. Right Click > Blending Options.

Go to Pattern Overlay > then click the pattern we save.

9. Set the Blend Mode to Soft Light
Then Lower the Opacity to 60 or 70% its up to you.

Click Ok.

10. Add any designs, border, brushes you want.
Save your work & now your done.

If you want to use other scanlines, just follow the tutorials below.

how about the moving scanlines?how to do it? just like on the siggy of sis kimmy? i experimented many ways to try it but i just can't figured out how..haha
