Competitive pokemon has a level matching called "tiers", i.e., as provided by Smogon :

1.  UBER (mostly Legendaries)
2.  OU (Over Used)
3.  BL (Borderline)
4.  UU (Underused)
5.  NU (Never Used)

Matches are based on that tier list.  If a member of your team falls under the UBER category, then your team should be in the UBER matches, so as with the other categories.

Now, if you will replace Kyogre in favor of Floatzel or Lapras (both of which falls under NU tier), your team will still be an OU Team because Blissey is an OU.  Therefore, before you create a Team, decide first if you want an UBER, OU, UU, NU or NFE Team.

Frankly, neither Floatzel (NU) or Lapras (NU) could do good against any of my team because all the members of my team are OU.  Now, to really cope up with my team, you have to make a team composed of OU Pokemon, which you can find here  as a guide

Limbo contains Pokemon that are still under the "testing" and "screening" process by the Smogon Team.  Until then, they will determine to which tier the pokemon should belong.  Most pokemon under this tier are those "suspected" pokemon that previously belong to a Tier (could be Uber, OU, UU, NU, etc...), but found to be "unsuited" (either over-rated OR under-rated).

"Ubers - Pokémon too powerful for OU; a catch-all playing field. Anything goes as far as Pokémon allowed.

OU - Pokémon who are used frequently in battle. Since our focus is on battling COMPETITIVELY, one can safely assume that Pokémon used often in battle are stronger than most other Pokémon because the object of competitive play is ultimately victory in battle, which is achieved by using a "powerful" team.
USED OFTEN, STRONG

BL - These Pokémon are not seen as often as those in the OU tier, but are considered too powerful for UU play. These Pokémon ARE NOT considered any weaker than Pokémon in the OU tier.
USED OCCASIONALLY, STRONG

    * The need for a BL tier may at first glance seem questionable. However, it is important to represent usage as well as power in the tiers. Those Pokémon in the OU tier serve as a threat list of sorts; they tell you what Pokémon to keep in mind and what one should aim to counter when building a team. This is highly useful for veteran players and invaluable knowledge for people new to competitive battling.


UU - Pokémon not used often, that are relatively weak.
USED RARELY, WEAK

NU - Pokemon considered essentially unusable.
NEVER USED, VERY WEAK"

It looks like that we do have the same preference.  I like Lugia than Ho oh.  I dunno, but for some reasons, Fir-type pokemon are not so appealing to me.

BTW guys, do you know that "held-items" play a very important role in battling?  Berries, belts, scarf, band and others give different types of boosts to the pokemon stats (speed, HP, attack, special attack, defense & special defense).

you have to use your pokemon trainer senses to give the right item to the right pokemon

Normally I don't post rumours such as this, but these two pictures seen on the right have been posted in the Japanese image boards and they seem to be believing it also. If these scans are legitimate, it reveals the sihlouetted Pokémon and its apparent pre-evolution. With thanks to yaminokame for translations, we have the details posted in the scan.
First, the pre-evolution Pokémon is called Zorua/ Zoroa (ゾロア) and is a Dark-type Pokémon. Its classification is Evil Fox Pokémon, it is 0.7m tall and 12.5kg
Secondly, the Pokémon in the sihlouette is said to be called Zoroark/Zoroaaku (ゾロアーク)and is also a Dark-type Pokémon. Its classification is Monster Fox Pokémon, it is 1.6m tall and 81.1kg.
These Pokémon have been confirmed as real and CoroCoro indicates there will be more revealed next month, in addition to Zorua & Zoroark's abilities! It also confirms that the 13th movie is to be called Phantom Champion Zoroark.

i'm excited about this development! hmmm.. i wonder where this new poke will fall to which category, could be another Uber (legendary?)
