sorry for double posting, but here's chapter 5

Chapter 5
“Trouble Straight Ahead.”

*Drake and Zoe’s P.O.V.

“So, How much for the Short Sword?” asked Drake.

“100 Gold.”

“I’ll take it.”

“Hey Drake! Done yet?” Zoe said.

“Almost done!”

Drake equipped the short sword with his starting weapon, a long sword. Zoe was using a longbow, with fire enchanced arrows, which blaze upon impact.

“Let’s go Zoe!” Drake said.

“Wait, don’t you think it’s too dangerous if the we travel only with the 2 of us?” said Zoe.

“Come to think of it, Let’s look for a tavern, maybe we can find companions there.” Drake suggested.

They started to ask directions, which lead the to a tavern called “Ozzy’s Place.” There were Swordsmen, Brawlers, and Archers. They started to look for strong people. They found 2 fellow travelers.

“Hey, Umm, we’re kind of looking for companions.” Drake said.

“Oh, were looking for companions too. Sure, let’s all travel together!” the first Swordsman said.

“By the way, I’m Drake and this is Zoe.” Said Drake.

“Hi.” Said Zoe.

“Hi Drake, Hi Zoe. Nice to meet you.” Said the second Swordsman.

“Oh, and by the way. My name is Lylle, and this here is my friend, Karl.” Said the first Swordsman.

The Swordsmen look like they were already training, They look like they are in level 2 to 3. The first one, Lylle, was equipped with an unsual sword, it was 2 meters tall and a half meter wide. It looks similar to the weapon of a character in a vintage game that me and Zakk play. I think it’s called “Dissidia: Final Fantasy.” But Lylle’s sword has an unusual shape.The second one, Karl, is equipped with dual katanas, what looks cool is the other one was enchanted with Fire element and the other was enchanted with Ice element.

“So, when do we leave?” asked Drake.

“This afternoon” We’ll give you guys time to explore the city.” Said Karl

“Ok, we’ll meet up here later.”

“See you later.”

We started to explore the city a little.We found a lot of things, from entertainers to performers. But what we saw just now looks like trouble…

Drake and Zoe’s P.O.V.

“Drake! What’s that?” said Zoe

There was an explosion in the town streets. It was caused by meteors! Meteors with monsters in it! We started to shift to battle stance…

“Zoe! Back me up!” Drake said.

I started to lunge at the Dinosaur-like monsters, while Zoe is sniping each monsters coming near her. Every hit was a headshot! Well, The reason why she is good at this is because she is in Archery Team in school. She is the ace player of the team.

“They’re not even decreasing in numbers!” Zoe shouted in fear

“We’re greatly outnumbered!” Drake said.

Then we saw shadows hacking and slashing at the monsters, It was Lylle and Karl! Thank goodness they found us, Lylle started to throw his ridiculously large sword at the monsters. Karl was very fast, we can’t even follow his movements. At last the monsters were gone. But there was only one standing…

“That thing is huge!” Drake said.

“It’s even bigger than our house” Zoe said.

Lylle started to give orders. While Me, Zoe and Karl was dodging every projectile the monster throw at us.

“Zoe! Aim for his eyes! Karl, Drake! Try to get the monsters attention!” Lylle ordered

Like Lylle ordered, Zoe aimed for the monster’s eyes. While the monster is busy with me and Karl, Zoe got the monsters eyes, and Lylle dashed to the monster’s head and chopped it off with ease. Level Up!

“So, what now, Lylle?” said Karl.

“Let’s head to Zephyr City, The monster spoiled my lunch….” answered Lylle.

After grabbing the loot, we headed straight to the town gates, and continued our way to Zephyr City…

Zakk and Leon’s P.O.V.

I heard some people outside the room that made me woke up. I went out the room to look for Leon and Adz. I found them talking about something.

“Good morning guys!” I greeted

“Oh, hey Zakk, good morning.” Leon answered back.

“So, have you found some info about Zephyr?”

“Yeah, It was just recently overrun by bandits.”

“So, what are we gonna do?”

“Everyone in this Inn is forming a “Liberation Force” to liberate the city”

“So, we’re gonna join them?” I asked

“I guess we don’t have a choice…” Leon answered

After that conversation, I looked at Adz, he was holding a blue shiny sphere.

“Hey Adz, is that the rune?” I asked

“Yeah, I found it near here, guess we won’t have to stop on Ivalice.” He answered.

I went outside after talking to Adz. I still can’t get that fight out of my mind, I got defeated in just one punch… I started to train hard…

“Nice swing.” Someone said.

It was a Chuunin, a level 20 ninja, Probably about 15-18 years old.

“But, that weapon of yours won’t stand a chance against those bandits. Here, take this.”

He handed me a katana, There were Japanese characters embed on it, It says “Fire, Water, Earth, Thunder as one.”

I tried to swing it, From the looks of it, it was enchanted with these 4 elements.

I turned back to the Chuunin to say thanks, only to find out he was gone…

After that encounter, I went back to the others, who seems to be getting ready to go to Zephyr.

“Hey Zakk, are you ready?” Leon and Adz said in unison.

I nodded, then went with Leon, Adz and the others to the big city of Zepyhr…

Anyways... Here's chapter 9:

Drake and Zoe’s POV

After that last fight we headed to Zephyr, Lylle tells me that it’s just as short walk from here to Zephyr.

“So, Lylle, are you and Karl really friends in the real world? Or did you just meet here?” Drake asked.

“Uh, yeah, we are good friends, we play other online games too, but this one will stay on my top 1 list for a while…” Lylle answered.

We saw something just ahead of us, there were a lot of people, but what I saw made me shout in joy! It was Zakk and Leon! But, why are they with these people?

“Zakk! Leon! Over here!” Drake shouted.

They turned to us, then waved back, then they ran towards our direction.

“Zakk! Leon! We finally met with you guys!” Zoe said.
“Yeah good thing! Oh by the way, Drake, Zoe, this is Adz. Adz, This is Drake and Zoe, They’re my friends too.” Zakk said.

“Hi.” Adz said.

“Oh, Guys, this is Lylle and Karl, we traveled altogether to go to Zephyr.” Drake said.

“By the way, what’s with all these men?” Lylle asked.

“We formed a Liberation Force, Zepyhr was just recently overrun by bandits.” Zakk answered.

“It would be a great help if you guys join us…” Leon said.

“Cool, I’m In!” Lylle said.

“Count us in!” Drake and Zoe said.

“Yeah, what they said…” Karl said.

We went with the group to liberate the city of Zephyr from the bandits. I think I smell a big battle will happen in just a while…

After meeting up with Drake and Zoe, we and the force started to go to Zepyhr. The archers started to snipe bandits near the gates. Zoe gained experience to level up to 10. where she is now called as a “Hunter”.

“Now everyone, we will charge in full force and take each and every one of those bandits down!” ordered the Leader.

We quickly went into battle stance, Leon and the other Spellcasters were casting some Protect spells. When our people started to barge in the city gates. We were horrified of what we saw. Thousands of bandits, each and everyone of them ready to take all of us down.

The ones on the frontlines, which are the Swordsmen, with Drake, Lylle and Karl in front, started to slash, stab and piece at the oncoming bandits. Drake moved with Lylle near the town center, where a bandit leader was fighting with some of our people. With no hesitation, Lylle started to charge in the bandit leader. Lylle performed an overhead slash which was quickly dodged by the bandit leader, then the bandit leader quickly countered Lylle’s attack with a strong, powerful, kick, which made Lylle crash on a wall. The bandit lord started to raise his sword overhead to deliver the final blow. Without a moment to lose, Drake started to charge in the fight, he quickly stabbed the bandit lord at the back with all his might. Then, the bandit lord fell to his knees, and presumeably died.

“Thanks Drake, that was a close call” Lylle said.

“You’re Welcome, anyways, let’s hurry back to the battlefield.” Drake answered back.

Drake leveled up to 10 and became a “Knight”

After that, me and Adz started to rack up some jutsus. Adz threw kunais at the bandits closing in, I started to use the powers of the katana the Chuunin gave me, Every bandit I strike gets burned, electrocuted and other things the katana has up it’s sleeve. I saw a bandit leader fighting with Swordsmen, I started to do a huge jump to strike at the bandit leader overhead, but I guess I underestimated him, he blocked my move, then he grabbed me by the neck and punched me in the gut. It suddenly reminded me of my battle with Gizmo, it made me furious, what I did was channel this fury to be strength and used this fury to defeat the bandit, I chopped his hand of, which let me free, Then I stabbed him in the abdomen, which made him throw up blood. I finished it up by pulling my katana and letting him fall on the floor, I leveled up to ten, and I noticed my suit was changing in shape, I was changed into a “Genin”.

The part of the Archers was very easy, they just went into the rooftops and sniped every bandit they see, it was very obvious that the bandits were decreasing in numbers.

After all of the bandit grunts were defeated, there was only one standing. The bandit lord named “Twinblade”.

“Damn each and everyone of you! Everything was great until you people came along. Now, I challenge the strongest person in your group!” Twinblade said.

No one stepped forward, Lylle was going to step forward, but I stopped him saying; “This is my chance, Let me handle this.”.

I stepped forward to fight the huge bandit lord.

“You guys better go on ahead…” I said

“Ok, see you at the pub dude!” Kyle said

After my friends left, I came to talk to the Chuunin. What I noticed this time is he is not like any other Chuunins, his suit is not identical to any other Chuunins, and his suit has a dragon emblem on his back.

“Good work back there.” He said

“Thanks, it was pretty intense”

“However, you still have to defeat the other “bosses” to prove yourself.”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“You will know when the right time comes…”

After that last message, he disappeared in a thick cloud of smoke. I went to the pub, with my friends waiting for me there. I sat down near my friends to chat.

“So guys, what are you gonna do now?” I asked Lylle and Karl

“We might probably stick with you guys for a while.” Lylle answered.

“How about you, Adz?” Leon asked.

“I might go to the Online Name Changer to change my name.”

“Well, what name?”

“You just have to wait for tomorrow to find out…”

After that I asked Drake to come with me to look for quests at the notice board. We found some quest but they looked easy to me, I’m looking for a good adventure.

“Hey Zakk, how about this one?” Drake said.

“What? The one with the “Lost Wallet” quest?”

“No, no, not that one, this one!!”

I looked at the sign he was pointing at. It was a quest for levels 15 and up. I am on level 15, but Drake is only on level 13, but, I think I can back him up.

“Ok Drake, this quest will do.” I said

“C’mon, let’s put a notice that we took this quest.”

After that quest searching, we went back to the others…

haha, i changed the name already.

After we exchanged e-mail addresses with our new friends, a system messenger came to us.

“Warning, Emergency disconnection, please log out immediately!”

“What?” Drake said.

“Anyways, we’ll just be in touch through e-mail!” I said.

“Ok, bye guys!” Lylle said, then logged out.

“Well, guys, let’s log out!” Leon said.

Logging out was easy, you just have to use a certain item to log out. After logging out, the helmet just became an ordinary helmet.

“Hey Leon, what do you think happened?” I asked.

“I don’t know, maybe something happened to their server.” He said.

“Well, anyways, I’m off to sleep. Night!” I said.

“Night!” Leon said.

Leon went to get some food then he watched some TV. I went straight to my room, quickly changed, then went to bed. I dreamt about RoH became true. Wonder if that will happen? Then after a while, my alarm clock rang, it’s time for school.

“Hey Zakk! Breakfast is ready!” Leon shouted.

“Ok, I’m coming!”

I picked up my “Imitation” Katana, the one that came with the game. I suddenly noticed that I looked like my Katana in-game. Then I played with it while hurrying downstairs.

“Hey Zakk, you’re gonna be late for class!” Leon said.

“Where’s dad?”

“He went to work already, get ready then well go to school!”

I ate my breakfast like lightning, then got ready to go to school.

“You sure you didn’t forget anything?”

“Wait, I have to get my phone!”

After I got my phone from my room, We met up with Drake and Zoe on the way to school.

“Hey Zakk, isn’t that the monument from Zephyr City?” Drake asked

“It really looked liked the monument in-game.” I answered.

“And look over there! The House looks like houses from Imperial City!”

“And there too!”

“Something fishy is happening here…” Leon said

So we went straight to school and went to our respective classes.
