" aw, tsk. ano ba . shutup . okay ? your not in the condition to open that mouth , wag kang pasaway "

" - - hehe , ayos lang ako nohhh - - - "

" kc went outside - -"

" ahh - she came . . hehe please tell her na yung gamit niya andun sa bahay - - along with giro's headphones . .  . baka magalit si giro pag nawala yun - - "

" NGEK . . wala yun promise , ako bahala . . tsk ! ! basta . .pahinga ka nga - - muna - - do you want me to add salt your bruises !!! > hahaha "

" baliw , bahala ka - -zzzzzz "

i just replied . . " ahhh " - -then nagpunta ako dun sa labas nung room ,  then giro came - -

- -  i told him that i was gonna get a soda , i went outside the building, sat down sa bench , and just stared on the city lights -

- - i coudnt help it - - lumabas nalang bigla ang luha ko na parang gripo - - - darn  ... i forgot my hankie inside - - then before i knew it , eriko gave me his hankie and told me what happened - -

Chapter 12 Part 2

MIkko’s POV

. . . its pretty unusual for a guy to start blabbering about his love life  - kasi hindi alam ng iba ang mga lalaki eh may softer side rin - - - hindi nga lang lantaran , nakaka hiya na yon . . hahaha - -

Wala si giro !! yeahhh ayos !!! - - he was away on paris - - and I got kc all to myself !! hahaha selfish  mode ako mga dude ! . . pero . . pwede naman diba . . sinama ko si kc sa isang art gallery sa Fairview  - - then sabi ko sa kanya - - mag uwi ng kahit anong painting dun - - money was not an issue so I told kc to bring home anything from the gallery - -


Following that night - - I came early to her place - - hoping that she would be up by now ? its almost eight o clock - - -

Sabi ni tita nasa kwarto daw - - puntahan ko nalang daw - - ( diba ayos ! family friend daw eh kaya pwedeng pwede na !! )

. . . I went inside the room - - and there I saw her - - - - 

She was  . . .


Sleeping – she looked really exhausted and tired and all but I can’t help it - - I saw pictures of giro and her - - (damn ) then I saw a scrapbook made by kc - - that contained pictures from the artworkshop - - nahhh - - - hindi to akin so - - iniwan ko nalang dun - - then umupo ako sa pc ni kc – she left it open and logged in so I browsed it all the way up to recycled bin ! haha – just kidding - -

I saw a folder named “ literary crap “ . . . wow – it was full of poetic pieces and short stories . . . lol . I don’t have time to read all of this and its not right to read this  - its private . . hehe . . but . . . tempting - - - - . hahaha .. then I noticed that she was kinda waking up so I talked to her - -

“ so you’re a writer din pala - - - “ . . . . I said sarcastically

“ huh . . ? “  she replied

“ - - haha – ayos pala mga poems mo ha . .  “

“ what !!?? Mikooooooo anong ginagawa mo dito sa kwarto ko ???? . . .tsk ! ! ! . . “

“ hahaha , sabi ni tita eh puntahan nalang daw kita dito sa kwarto mo ! hahaha - - “

“ huh ??? eh wala naman si mommy ? “

“ naka sabay ko siya kanina she came home at dawn nung nag jojog ako “

“ AISHHHH WHATEVER !!! alis alis alis  , magbibihis muna ako - - “

Napansin ko ang liit nung shorts na suut niya and she was wearing a white shirt - - - aw mikko focus ! haha - - she grabbed a pillow then ordered me to wait downstairs - - the night before this – tinadtad ko si kc ng sobrang daming text messages na mag badminton kami . . hindi nag rereply siguro tulog na - - sa sobrang kakulitan ko , pag baba niya hindi ko siya tinigal na yayain na mag badminton - - - although hesitant siya sa simula - - pumayag din - - - . . YEAHHHHHHHHHHH! Haha

We both went outside . . . walking past the porch I saw . .


Giro ??? from paris !? . . O.O . . . . *surprised . . . . yeah I was really surprised – he was back this early ? . .  that means , ? . . . . .

Yep guys – that means - - - bye bye kc - - haha .. lol drama king

. . . not gonna continue this part of the story  - - - alam naman ng lahat how it all came up - - lol

It all comes down to this honestly , ito yung pinaka ayaw kong mangyari , natatakot ako . . . kasi alam kong pag uwi ni giro dito , dahil sobrang namiss ni kc , si giro eh mas maging mas malapit sila sa isat isa - - who am I to argue with the reality they have – MABAGAL kasi ako masyado !!! .  . daemmmnnnn - -


Start of School Days … 2nd Semester – we got this new scary teacher , si miss LA . . sila takot , ako hindi haha - - , yep , ang schedules naming nina giro ay weird , giro - - lol , that guy ? I don’t  even know why the hell we ended up becoming bestfriends or something , its weird – - lol I’m starting to hate him . . . he stole my girl ! - -

During that class – she was annoying me on purpose I guess , doing this flirty gestures with Vincent – damn , naasara talaga ako nung time na yon  , I wanted to punch his face silly . . . I partered with kim instead - -

Kim told me . . . “ she’ll come around “

“ hmmm mikko – cheer up - -  think why she’s doing it because she’s afraid that she’ll hurt your pal - - and I don’t know - - haiii confrontation lang yan =P , pray for it “

I couldn’t speak at all - - binabara ako ni kc for no apparent reason . . . I didn’t respond at all - - she knew I was off that time so she wrote a small script nalang instead , damn how much I owe kim for so much of investment she’s putting herself into - - kim gave me the awkward look that said “ its going to be alright “ - - I just nodded and smiled - -

I couldn’t help myself - - I followed kc all through out the campus - - - people are staring , damn - -

I realized while following her sa campus , library  ,
wow she skipped meals - 

we ended up sitting in the bleachers and then I read the purpose driven life - - book – lol for a change - - she was sketching something - - I couldn’t help myself - - confrontation time !

“ kc . FLIp ka rin no !? si Vincent yon ! playboy yon ! at lolokohin ka lang non ! besides kayo ni giro diba ? “ tinapkan ko yung sketch pad niya

“ uhmm ? yeah ? “ at napakamot naman ako sa ulo , crap !

“ kc - - pwede ba – lumayo ka sa mga lalaking katulad ni Vincent ! manglolokko yon ! “ i replied in total discust with that guy

“ pakelam mo ba ! - - “ wow parang inaasar nga ako ah !

“ nag aalala lang po ! “ . . i replied calmly

“ mangloloko ?? kaya siya nakipag group sakin is because - - hindi dahil naki pag flirt siya or something - - - he was seeking advice for his “NOW SERIOUS” relationship with his girlfriend - - - - “

“ O.o – " wow that was a relief


Then . . I saw this weird emotion in her eyes - - pain , happiness ? nag mimix at the same time - - weird - -

I followed her sa mall - - then ended up going to our last class

Seeing giro sit up against the wall - - I realized - - damn , ganito nalang lagi tuwing hapon - - whats worse was , diditch na nga nila ako then giro made me take home there things, para less baggage , damn nakaka asar  - pero hindi talaga pwedeng magalit so I needed to fake a smile - - YEAH BOI ! - - haha - -

One last look at kc and giro entering his car - - - I saw kc , look at me . . I smiled - - the PAIN !!!! damn the pain –


I waved goodbye then again , I pulled out a fake smile - - then I saw them go . .

I went inside my car - - - I drove as fast as I could ,damn - - - I really hated what it felt ---

- - I just wondered – giro – damn , he’s playing me - - he wants me to suffer - - pain is inevitable ,suffering is optional - - pero I cantget myself through  , literally. Masakit - - yep masakit - - pero hindi ko talaga mafocus ang sarili ko - - I wanted to get home as fast as I could –
- naalala ko si kim ( I just needed someone to talk to ) , I grabbed my cellphone and then called her .

“ KIMOWWWW ! - - “

“ y-yeah ? mikow – whats up ? “

“ hey , are you free tonight  need to talk to you about something - - - “

“ hmmm sure sure - - hehe may life group ngayon dito sa fat larrie’s ( steak house ) – tabi lang ng campus sunod ka ? “

“ yep , thanks , kimmy I owe you big “

“ no problemow – sige sige , see y----------------------------

Then before I could say goodbye , or something - - I just saw a light - - coming against me while I overtaked - -



A few moments later - - - I woke up - - in a bed  ,  I was in a hospital - - Katie & eriko are right beside me . . . what happened ?? damn

KC’s POV

my giro - - and I went the mall - -

typical date as always - -he took me home -

reaching home our doorstep

- - I got a text message from kim - -

it said


” KC ! SOMETHING’S HAPPENED !!!!!!  KITA TAYO A.S.A.P- - - -  “

My eyes then grew wide , in total shock - - I rushed outside , looking for giro - - to my horror wala na siya - - crap !!! wala na akong load - - damnnnn - - what happened ?? - -

I couldn’t think - - then suddenly --- I got a call from giro , telling me that he rushed to the emergency room - - - - - his voice sounded raspy and worried , and so was mine
There was silence in me for about 10 seconds ,

“ KC , you there ???? “ ..

“ uh yeahhh  what happened ?? “

“ mikko was in an accident  . . . stay put - - “

. . . oh my god - - then I felt this weird pain in my chest again - - I was , completely - - devastated . .

“ . . I w-want to go - - please  ? “

“ . . nahh stay put okay , its late - - “         

“ . . I’m gonna go there myself -  -  - - “ I hanged up and then for a moment , I felt anger , na hindi ko alam kung bakit . then I felt pain.. I rushed down to the hospital immediately - - i saw kim , I asked her – what happened ???  she was speechless she just told me that mikko was lying down at room 323 .. I bumped into giro  - - at first hindi ko na napansin na siya yung naka bunggo ko , he grabbed me . .

“ heyy !  . . “

“ w-what are you doing here . . . ? tsk , did I told you stay put ??? I was calling you home  - - tsk nawala ka nanaman - - “

“ . . . tsk, I got worried . . kasi naman - - - “

“ don’t worry okay ?  . mikko’s fine - - he’s inside - - . “

“ yeah yeah , what happened ba kasi ?? “

“ his car flipped - - and went off road - - he was found unconscious , 20 meters away from the scene - - - “

I was shocked again  to hear that , but I didn’t want to cause controversy so I looked like as If I was unaffected . .

“ oh okay – hehe sige . . gonna check him up . . “  he let go of my hands - -

So he told me that mikko was hurrying up and  - - - - - . . tsk nvm , naiiyak lang ako remembering mikko’s accident  – basta mikko was lucky that eriko noticed mikko’s car on the road  . and he ended up here - - - bumalik nalang kami sa loob ng kwarto - - I saw giro – he was looking down , I sat next to him . . . asked him

“ hey - - - “

“ your back .. “ he whispered

“ m-musta na si mikko ? “

“ he’s asleep – suffered minor wounds - - he’ll be out in a week - - - “

“ ohh . . . . “

for a moment - - nakita ko nanaman ang sobrang lungkot na mata ni giro - - he was looking down - -
Katie , kim and eriko sat across the room - - his parents , is on a business trip - - and is likely to visit later daw - -

“ - - uwi na kita ? “ giro asked

I was honestly confused dun sa tanong niya - - pag sinabi ko na I want to stay and nurse him for a while - - it would cause controversy - - pag umuwi naman ako , I’m gonna be deeply worried and hindi ako makaka tulog nito - - naisip ko nalang . . .

“ kung nasan ka - - dun nalang ako “

“ . . . thanks kc - - I’m really worried . . . damn - - ano nanaman ang pumasok sa mokong na to at nagawa pang sumemplang sa kalsada . . “ he replied sarcastically - - I laughed a bit - - then I pinched him sa cheeks and told him. .

“ hmmmpffffff - - - “

“ whut ?? hehehe XD “

“ wala wala hehehe , “ then he gave me that cute-sy look again - - the whole night , I tried to divert myself from the easing pain inside me na si mikko ay na disgrasya - - tsk !!!! - - baka pag nagising to , hindi na niya ako kilala - - baka may amnesia na to pagka gising niya - - tsk !!!!! - - I saw katie , tulog na tulog sa balikat ni eriko , si eriko naman tulog rin - - while kim , ipod and reading twilight - - - -

I just laid down my head dun sa balikat ni giro and slept - -

Then I had a dream . . .



  I was walking down in a long hallway - - mikko was walking with me and holding my hand tightly - - I was never letting go . . by the end of the hallway - - I saw door - - it said “ paradise “ . . . i knew what it was , then pain inside me grew - - I wanted to cry but before I could – he hugged me very tight and whispered - - “ I love you - - - -- - goodbye - - kc “ . . before I could even speak a word . . he let go . and then went the other side . .  . I couldn’t move myself - - it someone was holding it against me . . . I turned back , it was giro - -then suddenly – naramdaman ko yung parang weird na feeling na malalaglag ako - -

I woke up - - In total worrying

I looked at the hospital bed , I saw mikko - - *sigh , what a relief . . .I told myself ,

giro came inside with breakfast and coffee - - mikko was awake ? and was weirdly hyper ??

“ DUDE !!!! - - haha may cast ako !!!! asteeg . . “

“ haha pare , tae ka kasi mag maneho !! kas kasero - - - “

“ hehe , tinanong ko doctor ko na gusto kong lumabas na mamaya , bago pa dumating parents ko , I don’t want them to worry much - - hehe – “

“ nope dude, you stay hehe “

“ whuh ? haha – dude , schoooool’s gonna miss mee ! “

“ luko haha XD – stay dude , please ? “

Naka tingin lang ako sa kanilang dalawa  they seem to be in good shape naman ( not literally ) - - mikko looked at me then winked - -

sit was Tuesday so I needed to go to school - - so I went up and waved goodbye at mikko - - I smiled – giro accompanied me home - - I got dressed - - then went straight to school . . giro was absent the whole day - - sabi niya sunduin nalang daw niya ako - - - it was totally weird this semester , I was less excited , Katie was always out , and so was kim - - - I was alone all day - - tumatambay nalang sa bleachers , habang naka upo , naalala ko lang si mikko , first week ko , he gave me the cold shoulders then suddenly nag sorry ? then he hugged me for the first time - - - then came giro - - tsk ! – gawd , I hate reminiscing the past !!!!!

- I called giro and told him to pick me up - -

A whole week na puro ganun nalang - - I cant help but not look at his house when I enter our house - - - i went to the nearest sari sari store , kasi super bored ako one day - - it was a Friday - - so nag decide ako na tumambay kina aling mista - - hehe – sari sari store , across our block - - - bumili ako ng m&m’s , chinika ko si aling mista - -

“ aba kc , kamusta ka na ? balita ko eh na ospital si mikko . . napano ? “

“ hmmpf ayun tsk , nakaka inis mag maneho ayan , haii “

“ aynako ayos lang yan - - magiging ayos din ang lahat - - “

So I killed time talking to her , all day , she told me na mikko grew up in the subdivision daw - - - mikko , babaero daw dati yan – pero he decided to be serious , for 3 years single daw siya , sobrang chick magnet sa campus – pareho sila ni giro - - - then dumating daw ang isang “dalagita” ( ang cheesy ng tawag ni aling mista - - pero simula ng lumipat yung isang dalagita dito sa subdivision nila – “ nagbago daw si mikko “ . . .) . . .

-    - - - - - - - - - natahimik ako , naalala ko lang si mikko - - naalala ko yung kakulitan niya - - I decided to visit him sa hospital later that day. Si Giro ay nasa band rehearsals daw so I went there by myself - -

Honestly ? my heart was thumping really really hard - - I didn’t know what to tell mikko , hehe XD mental block kungbaga  ? I don’t know how will I explain myself - - im just worried naman kasi kaya I wanted to check him up – I rushed ,  - hoho

I arrived at the hospital at 14:00 - - rushing down the hall, reaching his room  . . .

I saw him . . .  sleeping


Sleeping like an angel . . . that was a huge weight off my shoulders , seeing him okay - - who knows ? he might woke up – with an amnesia ! tsk ! masyado akong nag aalala - - looking at him, he was seriously vulnerable-looking that time - - I was really caught off guard - - its not really late so , nagbantay nalang ako --- hihihi XD - - tita told me to look after him for a while kasi babawi daw siya ng tulog , I humbly accepted . Andun lang ako naglalaro ng PSP ! ni mikko ! – sumasakit na yung mata ko habang pindot ng pindot nung x , y square at triangle na yun although enjoy naman - - then came to the point na I was really really bored - - I watched tv. Listened to hillsongs ( from kim )

20:00 – so okay , 6 hours akong naka upo dun , I texted giro na I’m gonna be looking after mikko for a while hehe XD , . . . .  hindi nag reply ??  --

Then suddenly - - I heard mikko whisper . .

“k-k-k-c . .  . “

I quickly turned my attention to him , holding my cellphone . . I was really floured . . so I told myself - - dream lang yun – nothing much ? , then again he said . .

“ . . . .s-s-s-s-s-s-s-orry - -kc - - i-i—l-ove - - - “ * phone rings - - - -

-    - - then I heard a sound . .

I turned to my right , It was mikko !!! - -tsk !! gising na pala siya - - -

“ HUH !?  . . . gising ka nap ala - -  “

“ hehe XD its weird but I wanted to ask . . what brought you here ? “

“ I left something the other night , binalikan ko lang “ . . I lied

“ hmmm - - pero naka upo ka ? at kita ko ang eye bugs mo ? it means you’ve been here for quite some time . . haha XD “

“ whutever - - i cant leave , I promised your mom , that I’m gonna look after you for while “

“ ah ganun – so go ? maiintindihan naman niya pag bigla ka nalang nawala dito after all – your with my bestfriend naman eh - - “ he said then smiled  - -

“ . . . . “ I never replied - - I just grabbed the PSP and played tekken -

. . . then I just continued playing with his PSP , not having the mentality na kanya nga pala yun - -

“ alam mo nung kinalaban ko si jinpachi , si jin ang ginamit , cool attacks hehe XD “

“ aw , crap I forgot - - - ito na – I got bored kasi – “ I quickly handed over to him his PSP in total embarrassment - -

“ ngek ,if you want to use it , hehe XD sayo muna its much better than listening to my annoying rants all day you know - - “ he replied

“ hahaha XD at sinakyan mo naman - - hahaha , seriously ; what brought you here ? “

I blushed naman - - tsk ! tagal na naming magkakilala kahit papano pero bakit nag blush ako ?? weird .. tsk ! - - I didn’t take it off just yet – I just looked at it - -  feeling his soft hands - -

“ seriously kc . . . can you please tell me ? “

“  . . . “ I just looked down and whispered “ I-I’m gonna stay outside for a while “ . .

I turned then was about to stand up - - pero his wasn’t letting go , he just whispered in his soft tone

“ please ? “ I felt like he was too weak to stand up or maybe just tired - -

I just closed my eyes - - then touched his arms - -

“ I’m really sorry for what I’m p-putting you through  . . . . “ I told him

“ I know what your going through . . . I’ve been there kc . . and the fact that you’re here , means a lot -- “

“  . . . please - - just - - be okay - - - - be safe . . . next time okay . . . ???  “  I replied , composing myself - - helding back tears - -

“ tsk . . naman oh - - tsk - - stop worrying okay . . anjan naman si giro para sayo - - - -  “

. . . . that was really painful for him in his part to say that the way he said it . . he was smiling and was still holding my hands - - ano ba kasi ang meron samin at bakit ganito ka tindi ang nararamdaman ko sa kanila pareho - - -

“ - - - walang iwanan  - - -“ I murmured

“ never - - - “ he said In an assuring tone . . . I don’t know how to describe what that felt like - - -

Then it ended up
All night we just played with his PSP at nagpapa taasan ng score sa survival mode ng tekken - - giro phoned in , telling me that his rehearsals just finished – and Is coming to pick me up -  I saw mikko’s facial expression changed , he became sad I guess - - tsk – pansin ko na mejo nag moodswing siya when he found out na susunduin ako ni giro - - I cheered him up - - hehe XD - - with no signs of success ;

It was total silence - - for about 20 minutes yata - - I sat beside him - - I did try to anoy him - - I tickled him …he was kinda annoyed - - pero naka smile parin - - hahaha XD - - parang virus ang moodswing naming- kanina ako , then now siya naman - - wala bang momentum na tuloy tuloy lang ang happiness ?? tsk - - - he just showed me his weird grin , smiling , I pinched him - - pero still during that time - - I was with this feeling na happiness like this would never last a lifetime - - dahil sa situation ko ngaun - -

after a few moments
I heard knocks

I quickly got down the bed – to the point of falling down instantaneously

” whoa ? you okay ? “ he asked

“ YUP ! hahaha XD “ I answered smiling – he laughed

It was giro - - may bit bit na krispy kremes !!!!! YEY !!!! hahaha XD - - I was about to grab one – when he said ..

“ OOPSS !! kay mikko yan - -- hahaha XD “ he said - -

“ tsk ! penge !!! “

“ HAHAHA BELAT AKIN YAN lAHAT !!! “ sabat naman ni mikko

“ tsk ang daya . . sige magsama kayo . . . “

Giro handed down the box and then said . . “ tsk uyyy glait na siya – I’m never gonna leave my wub ? - - hehe XD “

” hmpff hahaha “

Before leaving the room - - the box was left untouched ( hayyy the krispy kremes )  and mikko smiled - - - I smiled back , it felt weird though - - but at that split moment , it felt like as if there was hope on something good that’s gonna happen . . hahaha XD I don’t make sense LOL ) XD ..pero that’s what I felt . weird

-    - riding giro’s car - - I was just looking out the window - - staring at the night sky - - then out of nowhere I asked

“ hmm , busy ka sa band practice right , want me to look after mikko ? “

He paused for a moment - - “ w-why ? hehe “

“ wala lang - - “

“ sige “  before I could finish my sentence , inunahan na niya ako - - - -

“ oh okay ? “ I replied and smiled back - - -

. . . weird ?

That was a huge weight off my shoulders - - kasi alam ko na every after school I’m gonna go straight to the hospital to look after mikko , mikko has no idea , Katie and kim frequently visited but not as much as I did , kung pwede lang na tumira ako dito sa ospital , siguro ganun na nga ang gagawin ko - - sabawan ang lagging nangyayari samin ni mikko - - pinaglalaruan ang camera ng phone niya - - it was always fun - - hmmm , giro didn’t seem to mind it - - I was always helping him catch up with his school works ,

“ chin chin ! “  he always greeted me , everytime I’d enter his room—

” hey ! – tsk , inubos mo na yung krispy kremes ! “

“ nahh – hindi noh , I know that you liked it so ndun sa fridge - - “ 
^ I checked the box and then I was surprised to see O.O that the box was left untouched - -

“ thanks “ I replied

“ hahahaa - - kaw pa, eh alam ko naman na indi ka weight conscious ! at may plano kang maging over-weig- - - “

“ yabang mo !!!!! hahaha XD “ I grabbed a pillow then smacked the part kung saan my cast siya - - he reacted as If he was in total pain , siya naman – ayun nag iinarte dun sa kama na ang sakit daw - -

“ arghhhh - - - array naman oh ! “

“ lalalala , wala akong naririnig , YUMMM sarap ng donughts – hmmmmmmm”

Sabawan mode talaga kami - - his doctor would always frequently check up on him .and siya naman he was always goofy tuwing may checkup siya – ako andun taga suway sa kasalawan ni mikko – at ngayon ko lang nalaman na siya pala ay takot sa injection , well that was I thought kasi nung first time na bloodtest siya - - he grabbed my hand and squeezed it really really hard , then ako totally clueless - - I saw tears from his eyes ,and he was whimpering . “damnnn . . tsk ….. naman nanghihina ako oh - - “ or maybe masakit lang talaga - - I don’t know - - his doctor informed me na he’s free to go home anytime since tapos nanaman daw yung pag rerecover ng wounds niya , not totally pero , pwede na daw siya ulit bumalik sa dati niyang lifestyle-

“ narinig mo yon !? “ I grinned

“ yep – y? “

“that means , papasok ka na ulit “ I said in an annoying tone

“ nahhh  - im paying for all of this naman eh – kaya I’m gonna stay here for as long as I want - - hahaha “ he flashed his eyes and smiled , yung big smile na pang asar -

“ hmm nope - - uuwi ka - - “

“ haha , now your ordering me ? “

“ nope , I command you ! “ in a playful tone , I replied

“ you wish , “ he sarcastically replied - - so okay – almost a week na puro ganyan kami ni mikko and nag pa extend pa siya ng 2 days - - giro , minsan minsan lang dumayo dito – most of the time pa pag susunduin ako , they rarely talk nga eh - - somehow , nagiging distant na siya since I looked after mikko ditto sa ospital - - - I was starting to feel weird again . . tsk . after a few days na puro tawa – syempre hindi ko maiiwasan ang serious talk kay mikko - - at ang nakaka inis pa dun – ay siya ang nag start –

While we were watching just like heaven ( DVD ) - - he suddenly asked

“ kc - - mahal mo ba si giro ? “

I paused - - shocked, told myself – its gonna be one of those days again - -

“ yup why ? “

“ then why are you here with me . . . ? “ he cautiously asked , I mean ano yun ? did he asked that because somehow he felt bothered by my presence - -

“ w-w-wulalang - - “ tsk panic mode - -

“ okay – I get it - - weird though , a few months back , I asked you na wag lolokohin si giro - - its damn stupid na even I cant keep that promise - - “ he took a deep breath and said “ damn, I cant sleep at night  - wondering kung asan ka - - - kung ayos ka lang ba , so everytime you would be inside the room , that’s always a big relief and your presence here means a lot - - “ he camly said - - I was caught off-guard - -

“ so what are you saying - - ? “

“ nevermind – may I ask , what really made you stay here ? I mean  - a few weeks ago , nagging bitter ka nanaman then , nung andito nako sa ospital – nawala rin , lol alam ko na ! I need to be accident prone pala to get your attention ! hahaha XD “ he remarked - - that was really annoying

“tsk , uuwi na nga ako – I hate this kind of conversations , “

“ okay – hmmm – I’m getting bored here --- lets go out sometime “ he casually said

“ hello ?earth to YOUUU? duh – that’s like- - not gonna happen ? like ever ? “

“ eh pano kung pilitin kita - - “

“ mikko mikko mikko – your charm doesn’t work that way nemor ! “

“ oh really ? “ - - he quickly got up and then grabbed me – like a bear hug – he never let me go –it was like really really tight – and then he tickled me , it was like torture – and at the same time it felt weird .

It ended up in a really awkward position. He was on top of me and he was looking at me straight in the eyes  - - he was staring blankly in my face - - I felt my heart again - - he gave me this warm look –

“ I want you kc - - - - - you know that – “

“ - - - s-sorry - - “ I whispered

Then I felt his fingers making its way down my face –
“ yeah  sure I get it  - “

He stood up a bit again’st his position and then he laid down - - ako andun lang sa kama niya ( yes nagkasya kami dun ? weird ) -  - -

After a while he got up and said – “ I’m outta here “ – he removed those weird plasters and then got out of the room – not even wearing his slippers – tsk ! ang kuleeeetttttttt talaga ! – he wandered the hospital barefoot – and came back with 2 drinks – hershey’s French vanilla coffee - - me ? I just sat down dun sa chair sa tabi ng kama niya – - - -

Then  - - he took off his shirt ?? then his shorts and all he was left was his boxer’s

“ aiissshhhh mikko naman nakakahiya yang mga pandisal mo ! haha“ I started to cover my face

He just gave me that deceptive look and then he just came towards me - - I felt butterflies inside my tummy before I knew it he just came in front of me and grabbed the towel beside at my back - - he said

“ I’m goin out – outta here – una ka na kung gusto mo – “ he said while taking a bath

“ huh? Magchecheck out ka na ? – “

“ yup – you can go if you want “

“ hehe sige hintayin na kita - - - “

“ maglalakad lang ako pauwi – sure ka ? “

“ yeah yeah sige , “

“ okay ! “

Mikko got out of the bathroom – wearing just his shorts – I took his shirt and threw it at his face and told him –

“ mag tshirt ka nga ! “

“ bakit ba !? hahaha “ he sarcastically replied

Maghahapon na - -
-    - - he checked out of the hospital he was cleared out – and like what he said he wanted to walk home - - which was like 4kms away from here – I wasn’t hesitant because I can’t not hang out with him, he was always sweet and jolly like – even though they all told me na super suplado at super yabang daw ni mikko dati – ang mahalaga ngayon hindi na – he was always smiling and he always wanted to hold my hand - - - - he immediately dragged me to kim’s church kasi may service daw sila – since ako ay isang Christian na I humbly accepted . imbis na umuwi na kagad kami he took me kim’s church ahihihi – kim saw us was very surprised to see mikko out of the hospital - - - she was extatic –



The service ended - - - mikko again dragged me in this weird place dun sa church nila –


Sa likod - - ? dun sa may garden - - - overlooking the whole city - - it was windy - - we sat dun sa bench - - - again , he held my hand; he squeezed my hand softly , and then he camly said

“ kc kc kc , the one thing that I’m never gonna have - - “

” huh ? “ I replied in total clueless-ness

“ I really love you know - - my book is still and is always gonna be open for yah –but you chose to be a part of somebody else’s life instead and I humbly accept that defeat -“

“ w-what are you saying - - “ I replied and was never looking at him – afraid to show how my face felt all that

“ I’m leaving tonight , permanently and never coming back “

“ . . . . “ I looked down - - I didn’t reply to that - - I just looked down and looked at his face – and got up - - - he noticed that somehow -  that I was about to cry - - when suddenly he just hugged me from behind . . . I will remembered how sweet that felt – I touched his arms while he was hugging me and closed my eyes.

Ang sakit nanaman – pero ayoko ng sabihin – aalis na siya – I need to learn to let go – may boyfriend na ako – si giro;

I broke away from his arms and continued walking - - -

He also followed as predicted and then grabbed my hand –and said

“ tsk naman oh – ayan ka nanaman ! “

“ let go of me . . . “  I replied softly - -

* pushes me against the wall . . blocks the other way with his arms - -

" - - - "

" . .  " i just stared at him blankly

" your so attractive when you show me that blank facial expression of yours " his hands touching my face downwards . .

" . . .i'm really s-sor- - " i'm really speechless - -

before i could even finish my last thought , his finger covered my mouth and then he said . .

" yeah i know - - thats why i'm leaving it all be - - its gonna make all this pain go away ? capiche ? "

" - - - p-please ? - - can you please not leave ? “ I replied

" things can't work out if the both of us would be here with you , i know that you have made your pick - and i accept it " he said while smiling , pero I can sense the pain that he’s feeling right now

i just stared at him - - i can't control my tears , damn tulo nalang ng tulo - - ang sakit  - -

“ am never gonna forget you - - - “ he said and while leaning his forhead again’st mine - - his face got close - -


Closer than I imagined . . .


Our lips met , that soft lips – I really missed him - - -

It was then cut short by a distant i heard someone say

" WHAT THE FUCK !? "

waah...
