Part 1

“ hmmm . . bihis ka bili , pupunta tayo sa - - basta I have one last surprise for you “ . .

“ huh anong surprise . . ? “

“ basta get ready  , am gonna be back after 10 minutes okay ? . . =P may pupuntahan tayo ! “

So I was excited pero hindi ko alam kung saan niya ako dadalhin ? - - I just got up and got dressed - - he was weaing a white shirt as always - - he told me

“ surprise kc , basta sumama ka nalang ?

“ sure sure , basta wala ka bang gagawing masama sakin eh , “

“ kaya ?! hahaha - - - just kidding – trust me , you’ll like it !  “

“ kaya !? hahaha XD . . . “   I replied

So - - sumakay na kami sa car ni mikko - - sabi niya matulog daw muna ako , kasi 1 hour drive daw yun - - I told him . .

“ nahhh - - hehe XD “

Lelang ako , after 40 minutes ng biyahe , tulog nako dun sa car - - -

. . . .

Then he woke me up - -

Andun kami sa - SM Fairview - - sabi ko

“ at last we’re here - - - I feel sleepy – “

“ lets go to coffee bean , hehe para hindi ka antukin - - “

Nag coffee break muna kami - - 
After a few minutes of black coffee - - with him - -

finally naglakad kami ng naglakad hangang dun sa top floor - -

I asked him “ ever heard of an escalator !? tsk naman oh - - “

“ nahhh - -  I don’t do escalators - - “

“ - - - hmppppf ! “

“ gusto bubuhatin kita ? “

“ aynako , ayoko ! “

“ hahaha okay - - - “

Asar talaga oh - - I wonder , bakit kaya hindi nag paparamdam si giro , kamusta naman kaya siya ? hmmm . . oh well - - mag tetext rin yun , mamaya siguro magpaparamdam nay un  . its been 5 days and hindi pa rin yata siya tumatawag or something . . . hmmmm I wonder ??

Well anyway – so kinakabahan na ako kung saan ba ako dadalahin nitong baliw na to – tsk ! - -

Then we reached our so called “destination” daw - -

We went inside; then I saw a . . . . .


A gallery of rare artworks from several famous artists , Picasso !? , LEONARDO DA VINCI !!!!! - - oh my god !!!! - - - my eyes gleemed in excitement – I looked at him and smiled - - “ thanks “ I said then he said “ I told you , you would like it ! “

Crap ! tickets here in the gallery costs like 6k per head ? . . ang gastos naman nitong si mikko - - tsk ! - - then again he said

“ your free to take home any vintage artworks “ he said with a big smile . .

“ WHA !? flip ka ba ? “

“ dami mong tanong ! wag na nga ! hahahaa “

“ *aishhhhh sigeeeeeeeeee !! hihihihi “

I was a total art geek that time - - - mikko just sat dun sa bar - - - I was flouuuuured that time !!!! - - - -

So after hours of drowning myself in the gallery – I took home just 2 artworks since alam ko kung gano kamahal ang nagastos ni mikow sakin - - so nahiya naman ako , ihihi - - I sat down dun bar with him , I just smiled , sobrang smile ko ; abot hangang tenga . . . hahaha XD  . . .

Then I walked up to him and said . .

“ thanks “ with a smile - - then he smiled back - - - -

After the whole art thing - - we went down and ate something - - - dun kami kumain sa Friday’s kasi gusto daw niya yung pastries dun and he’s willing to pay naman , as always ? . .  hmmm so ayun nabusog kami - - hehe . then outside –dun sa parking lot , naka kita ako ng isang napaka gandang car !!! the 2008 Porsche 911 GT2 !!!!!!! OH MY GOD !!!!! - - since car geek ako – I tapped mikko and told him

“ omg omg omg . . Porsche 911 2008 version !!! AYEEEEE ! . . cute !! haha “

“ O.o “ he gave me his weird look in the eyes . .

‘ whut !? hahahaha“ I asked . . hyper ako ng mga panahon na yon - - - -

” hahaha - - - weird . . lam mo – may car na ganyan sa block naten ? “ he said - -

“ huh saan ? . . wala naman akong nakikita - - “

“ try waking up early and try jogging hehe , makikita mo “

“ YEAHHH , oh my god . . naalala ko na !!! haha nung bagong lipat kami - - nung binungo mo ko !!!! “ I said . .

“ huh ?! eh ikaw jan ang hind nag sasalita nung mga panahon na yon then bigla ka nalang sumulpot - - sa kung saan ! hahaa“

“ !? eh ikaw jan yung parang baliw na agang aga eh nagtatatakbo dun sa sidewalk ? may kalsada naman !? “

“ FINE FINE !! you win hahaha - - - “ . . he said . .

“ right ! haha “ . . and I reign victorious - - -

It was getting pretty late . . . it was almost 20:00 - - - almost one day kaming andun sa mall - - so we decided to go home na - - reaching home . . lumabas na kami sa car and he helped me with the artworks na nakuha I mean , kinuha ko dun sa gallery and we placed it dun sa living room ng house namin - - . . .

mom is away for the business trip nanaman and giro is also away - - it bothers me though , hindi siya nag paparamdam for almost ilang araw na ?? - - oh well siguro busy - -

The next day - -

I woke up pretty early – I saw my cellphone and then I got so many messages from mikko na nagyaya daw magbadminton -- *aish ang aga aga naman - - then I heard a strange voice from somewere dun sa may computer area sa kwarto ko - -

“ so you’re a writer din pala - - - “ . . . .

“ huh . . ? “ . . I looked and saw mikko , playing with my computer - - *ARGHHHHHHHHHH

“ - - haha – ayos pala mga poems mo ha . .  “

“ what !!?? Mikooooooo anong ginagawa mo dito sa kwarto ko ???? . . .tsk ! ! ! . . “

“ hahaha , sabi ni tita eh puntahan nalang daw kita dito sa kwarto mo ! hahaha - - “

“ huh ??? eh wala naman si mommy ? “

“ naka sabay ko siya kanina she came home at dawn nung nag jojog ako “

“ AISHHHH WHATEVER !!! alis alis alis  , magbibihis muna ako - - “

I grabbed a pillow and smacked him and told him to wait downstairs – hello ?? I was wearing a very micro shorts - - then I came down , nagyaya si mikko na mag badminton . . oh well okay ? – I went downstairs and to then mikko and I went outside . . .


- - - . .  past our doorstep - -

I saw someone - - - . .  . .




It was giro with a much more different hairstyle  - - sitting dun sa bench - - - looking down

I whispered to mikko . . .” crap “

Mikko : “ YOO pARE !!!!!! - - umuwi ka na pala ! “  . . nanglaki ang mata ko sa reaction ni mikko . . he went beside him and still ako andun lang - - speechless, or whatever - - I went to giro –

“ hey  - - your back - - “

Giro “ dude , can I have a moment with my kc - - “  aw . . seryoso si giro - - - - crapp – something’s up  - -

“ Sure sure dude - - “ he walks away and then he shows a –call-me- gesture then he proceeds to his home , crap anong gagawin ko - - - I didn’t even bother to text him nung nawala siya - -

“ heyy wubyyy .  your back !! I missed you ! “ I said . . in a nerve racking  tone -

“ . . . b-bakit hindi ka manlang nagparamdam ?? - - “

“ I-I was , I thought  . kasi .i was waiting for your call or something - - “

“ - - my phone broke down . 4 days ago ? I called your mom using my aun’ts cellphone and she told me you took off ???? “ . .. . he’s beginning to raise his voice

“ y-yeah . . it was an art workshop - - “ . .. sinesermoman niya na ako - -

“ let me guess . . . kasama mo si mikko ?? “

” y-yeah - - “ I told him – looking down - -

“ nice - - - hindi man lang kayo nagpaalam o nagsabi - - - . . . damn - - “. . . he said and he looked angry – he got up and started to walk away from me , nainis ako . giro walking away from me ????? . .

“ HUH ? nothing happened to me ??? - - I-its just I was really waiting for your call . . . “

“" DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED I WAS , you never even bothered to call or something ? or text !? . . damn . . i was losing my mind back there - - - - I begged my aunt to let me go back here last night !? I ended sneaking because I was so worried that I wanted to check up on YOU ! “ he said in a very loud tone – I’m seeing a side of giro , I never saw before - - I was beginning to feel something in my chest - -

“ - - i-I’m “

“ don’t . . ( before I could finish what I was saying , I felt this finger on my lips  - - - ) “
“ I’m not in the mood to go back – it’s a waste of time and money – enrollment fot the second semester is next week - - I’m going back to my place – get some rest kc “
^ he said in a serious tone - - and then walked away to his car - - - I immediately chased him and grabbed his hand and said . .

“ I’m really really sorry - - - - please - - its just I was really lonely not having you here - - - “ . . . . .

He turned and hugged me and said   . 

“ yeah - - I know - - that’s how much I love you keycee “  I felt his tears touching my cheeks , then he went off - - I just stood there sa may sidewalk namin , shocked and hurt – hindi ko alam kung ano ang gagawin ko - - I called up Katie , she was hanging out with jillian , and eriko nasa province daw nila - - Isa nalang ang lugar na pwede kong puntahan - -


Church 10:00 A:M . . .

. . . I went inside looking for kim - - I saw the church music team rehearsing and then they told me kim was there on the rooftop daw ?  . . I immediately went there and ayun , nakita ko si kim – naka upo dun sa bench. .

I sat beside her


“ kim .  . . . . “

“ KC !? . . hey . . what are you doing here ? hehe XD andito ka pala “

I just broke down in tears and thank god may tissue box siya sa tabi niya - - - - -

Kim “ I know , I know - - lemme guess - - mikko and giro right ? “

“ y-yeah - - *siff *siff – tsk !! “

“ hmmm - - ayos lang yan kc – - - “

“ 2 days ago , . . nung after ng artworkshop - - - - mikko kissed me - - then I slept beside him - - - - - “

“ WHOA ? hindi nga !??!?!?! - - tsk ! . . . “

“ - - - I don’t know what happened ? - - I felt something inside of me . . that I always felt for mikko nung diniditch niya ako lagi - - - “

“ you missed him ? and then nawala sa isip mo na kayo ni giro right ? “

“ yeah -  -  - “

“ kasi seriously kung ako nasa position mo - - maguguluhan din ako  . . hahahhaa “ she said . . . and laughed hard - -

I pinched her shoulders - -

“ tsk ! hehe “ . . 

“ hey , I’m just trying to make you laugh ? hehe “

“ - - - giro came home kanina . . . “

“ WHA ta/aga ?? I thought he was in paris . . . “

“ he got worried - - and he felt like checking up on me personally - - “

“ tsk tsk , yan kasi - - hindi ka nagpapaalam - - look what happened - - hmm just pray to god okay ? ? and let god handle it - - “

So she comforted me all day - - and I stayed dun sa church nila buong araw - - I mingled and socialized and had a bible study with them - - then I met pastor val - - he told me that he had known mikko and giro - - he said .  .


” so . . ikaw pala si kc - - kilala kita – nakwekwento ka sakin ni mikko at ni giro – ironic isn’t it ? giro always shares his moments with you and so does mikko - - I don’t tell them what each of them tells me kasi pareho lang naman - - - they both like you a lot – almost 7 years na yatang mag bestfriend yang dalawang yan ? kung hindi ako nagkakamali ? - - from the bible 1 John 4:18 – there is no fear in love - - remember that kc , I know that your struggling because both of them like you - - and the reality is , you can’t have 2 partners at one time – make a choice before its too late - - “


Make a choice before its too late . . . . naiwan nalang yun sa isip ko . . . . . I need to make a pick ? . . I made my pick . a few weeks ago ? si giro ? - - pero bakit ganito , tuwing nakikita ko si mikko laging hindi ko maintidihan !! *aishhh . . malapit na ang second sem , I need to focus . ..

I didn’t text neither giro or mikko - - I wanted to cut myself from the outside world for a moment and let my self be !!! - - hehe

- - - we were doing a bible study - - when suddenly they all turned to the entrance . . nung room . .
Kim whispered “ kc , sundo mo . . . “

I turned and I saw giro - - - he was looking at me – lelang ako so I imeediately stood up and came to him and asked “ heyyahh - - “

He just smiled and I felt his fingers touching my cheeks softly then he said “ hey , kc - - “

I felt my heart pounded – as in sobrang bilis - - ang bilis talaga - - - - then I looked into his eyes and again saw his sincerity - - his genuine love - - i melted - - pwede ba literally melted ? pero I really really melted - - -

I heard all my newly found churchmates saying “ uyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy “ . . I immediately blushed and said .  “ tsk ! hehehe “ . . . he wanted to tag along dun sa bible study pero I told him it was getting pretty late so we came home instead - - paglabas dun sa church napansin ko wala siyang dala na car . . I asked him why ? he said . kasi daw malapit lang naman yung village namen and he wanted a loooong walk with his girl daw - - nag blush naman ako - - so yeah dun kami dumaan sa may bayside area … matching yellow lights and all - - it felt like I was on movie , at the same time – he was holding my hand (he didn’t wanna let go of it - - )

- it felt good – the heartache is beginning to ease out - - -

While walking dun sa may bayside part - - not far nakita ko may fireworks - - I dragged him  - - but he pulled me closer and then - - he hugged me . . ? - -


He said .  .   “ I’m really sorry . . about earlier - - - “

“ i-its . . . okay . . “   

He was hugging me tight - - - he again looked so vulnerable - -

“ heyy  - - I’m the one who needs to say sorry - - so . . I’m sorry - - for making you worry . . wubbb - - “

He smiled and gave me that ever melting look of his - -

I pouted my face and then

He kissed me . .

- - - so yes , ayos na ulit kami !!! YAY !!!! hehehe XD - -

I asked him na kung pwede sa kanila nalang ako matulog since I never been to his place long enough - - he said

“ tingnan mo to . . magpapakilala pa naman ako sa mga ka churchmate mo tapos mag yaya ka na umuwi kasi ginagabi ka na .  . then . now you want to spend the night at my place ? haha your weird . .  “

“ chigeeee naaa . . hmmmm . . hehehe - - mag titingin ako ng baby pictures moooo “

” hahaha – some other time okay ??  “

I bited his shoulders . . hehe . pero hindi masakit . . then . he replied

“ okay okay hahaha - - wait I’m gonna call tita . and talk to her okay ? “

So he called tita and pinilit ko siya na siya nalang ang makipag usap kay mom - -

Pumayag si mommy , YAY !!!! hehehe - - nag taxi nalang kami papunta sa condo unit ni giro - -

It was well maintained , parang hindi lalaki ang naka tira - - compared sa kwarto ni mikko - - haha - -


Giro said “ we’re here ? hehehe XD … where’d you want to sleep . . ? “

“ beside my prince . . . . .? “ I smiled . .

“ - - - hahaha sure ! . . “

We both took a shower (*ehem , hindi po kami sabay nag shower )  and then we went to his room – and ako kinalkal ko yung baby pictures niya !!! haha – super cuteeeee - - - I took one and without hesitation he gave it to me - - naalala ko si mikko – nung nag agawan kami ng picture , tskkkk . . aiissshhhh nvm nvm nvm –  I was sleepy - - so sabi ko matulog na kami - - hehehe XD - -

We laid down dun sa bed ni giro resting my head against his arms - - and then - -for that moment on, I kept thinking – bakit parang ganito rin ang nararamdaman ko kay mikko - - - - and whats worse is , pag nakikita ko siya – parang masakit ? na mabigat ang pakiramdam ko - - T_T - - I just slept through the whole night - - - -


So yeah … after all the drama the whole semester break - - it has finally ended . . I patched things up with giro and we’re good !!! - - - yay !! . . about mikko ? . . hmmm haven’t talked to him since giro came home - - pero marami akong natatangap na text messages sa kanya - - papansin much ?? ahaha - -

all of us enrolled for the second semester - - hayyyyy after a longggg sem break . . . things was getting better or so I think ?

This semester - - I promised myself that I would keep my distance to mikko and just continue my relationship with giro - - sounds hard ? I can handle it !

Monday Monday . . hehe XD

November 10   . . .

Yey ! new subjects ! apparently , same classmates – but I like it ! hehehe - - so my first class is - -

Drama 184 – I’m classmates with mikko (gahhhh) . . no signs of giro ? . . Katie ! ( yay ! ) and jillian – and thankfully si kim andito rin - - I wonder where giro is ?  he texted me and said his first class is Artificial Intelligence - - I wonder kung bakit hindi ganon ang subjects ni mikko ? hahaha - - - I sat beside kim and Katie , mikko lumipat ng chair and sat beside me - - - he tapped my shoulders and greeted me

“ gooodmownin !! hehehe “

I promised myself to keep my distance from him so I showed my dark side ! ahahaha . . . “ oh ? “  .. yun lang reply ko . . hahaha . ..

“ . . . aw taray mo naman - - ayos na ulit kayo ni giro !  “

“ bakit ? “ _ taray ng lola niyo  - - hehe . . . pero I can see that most girls in class are getting pissed of me kasi naiingit sila na si mikko kinakausap ako . .and I’m ignoring him – then I felt his mood change - -

“ oh - - geh , mukang hindi ka ayos hehe “ . . . he throwed up a somewhat fake smile ? pero hindi ko alam - -  suddenly I felt guilty - - ? pero kaya ko to ! so our new professor for drama is miss L.A . . aka lee anne . . . she wants to be called LA - - and she wants to see unparalleled discipline and emotion in her class - - wow astig yata tong maestro na tao - -

Miss LA “ since all you guys are the brand new breeds of the next generation Shakespearean actor’s and actress’es I want you to partner with your seatmate and make a skit , 60 seconds long . a creative introduction of each of your background’s – this is your first quiz . its do or die . . in other words , there’s gonna be only pass or fail - - capiche ? “ . . . .

– astig ang lola nyo – lahat kami naka titig lang sakanya and the moment she said capiche . . . my classmates started to blabber with there seatmates - - I called up Katie and jillian partnered – Katie whispered “ lilingkisin ko na siyaaaaaaa “ . . . I laughed softly - - then mikko and kim partnered - - - - -

After a while – I was stuck solo , Vincent approached me ( basketball varsiety and known womanizer of the campus ) and asked me to be his partner - - - napansin ko si mikko naka tinign sakin and I felt like he was jelous or something , I showed my flirty side so I accepted and pouted my face , then mikko suddenly butted in - -

“ dude , your in my seat - - “ mikko said . .

“ get your partner dude ?  “ . .  Vincent replied

“ uhm dude - - kc’s with me – not with you – “

“ pare may problema ka ba ? “ Vincent replied. .  .  . aww I feel tension - -

Naki epal ako kasi ayoko ng away - - “ MIKKO ? partner ko si Vincent okay ?  . . si kim walang partner dun ka nalang ! “

- - he showed me the face of dismay - - parang nalungkot siya or something - - hahaha . . . -


After introductions - - Vincent and I parted ways - -

Since taliwas ang schedule namin ni giro-kun ( hihihi Japanese name )  - no choice na si mikko laging sumusnod sakin - - andun lang kami sa bleachers buong umaga . . buong break namin – I needed to find something to pre occupy myself – I brought out my sketchpad and listened to Alicia keys nalang - - then mikko was reading . . . the purpose driven life ) haha . at nagpapaka banal si mikko - - (natapos ko na yung book na yun ) – nagkaka hulihan kami ni mikko ng tingin , I pretended that I didn’t see anything so I continued to sketch my heart out the whole morning , mikko couldn’t help it so he immediately closed the book and then tinakpan yung sketchpad ko - -

“ kc . FLIp ka rin no !? si Vincent yon ! playboy yon ! at lolokohin ka lang non ! besides kayo ni giro diba ? “ . . . . . . . I gave him the . . O.O look - -

“ uhmm ? yeah ? “ - - - napakamot naman sa ulo si mikko

“ kc - - pwede ba – lumayo ka sa mga lalaking katulad ni Vincent ! manglolokko yon ! “

“ pakelam mo ba ! - - “

“ nag aalala lang po ! “

“ mangloloko ?? kaya siya nakipag group sakin is because - - hindi dahil naki pag flirt siya or something - - - he was seeking advice for his “NOW SERIOUS” relationship with his girlfriend - - - - “

“ O.o – he gave me that awkward look -   . . “ natahimik naman siya - -

“ pwede ? ba ? I need to go somewhere – dito ka na - - -“ . . . . its weird but I started to be bitter towards mikko , for no reason - - kasi I needed a stronger foundation sa faith ko sa aming relationship ni giro and with my growing pains for mikko starting to manifest - - kailangan ko munang lumayo sa kanya - -  T_T - -

He still followed me - -

Nakaka inis na ha . . in fairness - - - hell yeah – nakaka inis ! - - - sobra - - well honestly hindi talaga – gusto ko lang maging bitter - -

I went to the mall - - and still mikko followed me - - - - - -

I started to walk fast - - mikko catched up and then hinarap nya ako sa kanya - - s

Mikko “ kc wait -- - - ayos ka lang ba talaga ??? - - “

He faced me - - he looked bewildered . . . puzzled . . . by the way I acted towards him - - -

“ what !? “ . . I said in a semi loud tone –

“ kc - - something’s up . . I can sense it ? “

“ wala wala - - pupunta ako sa powerbooks  “

“ oh okay hehehe , can I join yah !? hehe XD – peaceeeeee - “

“ *sigh - - sure . . .  “

- -   tsk ! - - then ayun . he smiled again - - that’s one thing I liked about mikko – he was always smiling - - the good time and the bad - - wOoosh . . naka smile nalang lagi - - hehehe XD at nagpapatunaw naman ako - -

Bumalik kami sa school - - took up the last subject for the day – the school day ended

I saw giro with his back against the wall dun sa labas ng room namin with his big headphones on - -

“ Heyyy ! . . “ I told giro - -

“ - - - - keychii quch - - shall we . . . ? “   then mikko just stood beside me … he asked –

“ dude san kayo ? “ . . mikko asked - -

“ date muna dude bago umuwi - - baka movie or something ? – bakit - - “

“ oh - - “

Then I criticized his big headphones - - told him . . . “ haha ang laki ng headphones mo wubb - - haha – buti nakaka tungo ka pa jan ! “

“ hahaha you don’t like it ? the music is great !!! . . “

“ tsk iwan mo nalang . . sa locker - - pati yung gym clothes ko hihihi “

“ nahh I don’t recommend the locker . . mananakawan ka jan pag nag ka taon - - haha – mautak ang mga tao dito - - “

“ ganun ba - - tsk . pano to – “

“ bro – favor naman pwede iuwi mo muna yung gamit namin – promise I’ll pick it up tomorrow morning - - “ giro told mikko - -

Mikko replied “ sure sure - - hehe “ . . . then he took giro’s headphones and my gym clothes bag with him and then giro and I started to walk to giro’s car - - bago sumakay . .

I saw mikko alone - - parang somewhat  - - sad or something - - habang nilalagay yung gamit namin dun sa backseat ng car niya - - then he noticed na naka tingin ako sa kanya , he just waved goodbye and smiled . ? - - then I just looked at him and then he went off - - - - -

Its weird but I kinda felt bothered by the whole thing - - - ? or baka isa nanaman to sa mga nonsense manifestations sa katawan ko that needs clearing up = =

Well ANYWAY - - I’m beginning to sound like a drama queen again –

my giro - - ay sosyal – may MY sa unahan hahaha - - giro and I went the mall - -

typical date as always - -then he ended up taking me home - -

then reaching home - - I got a text message from kim - -

it said


” KC ! SOMETHING’S HAPPENED !!!!!!  KITA TAYO A.S.A.P- - - -  “
